My children and I have become more organized in our cooking. It has become our lifeline after the coronavirus outbreak that afflicted us all just a sarma recept kulinarika few days in the past.
My parents were not at all interested in cooking, however my younger siblings loved steak au poivre. It became their favourite dish. They would go into the kitchen when the sauce was ready to be ignited and stare at the flames from a safe distance. They would also shake their hands at the sound of the smoke alarms.
I started inviting them cook with me from time to time. You can ask them to assist you in cooking by peeling and frying vegetables, or flipping pancakes.
As a creature of social media, I would also often post photos and videos of my creations — including the obligatory slo-mo flambe — which eventually gave me the idea to combine the activities and give birth to “Daddy and Holly and Liam’s Cooking Show,” a friends-and-family-only Facebook endeavor that we’d put out once every month or two. This structure gave structure to seemingly random lessons, and made it more fun for the children to learn to cook.
Cooking with friends has never been more important since the coronavirus outbreak. Adults can easily observe how people are looking for activities to engage in during lockdown. For children, interruptions to their routines can be extremely stressful. Zoom classrooms are a great option, but it’s not enough.
We also need to be aware of the possibility of the spread of a pandemic to the adult brain.
The coronavirus can be avoided by cooking with your family. It’s not like we have to separate from one another like binging Netflix or Disney Plus. We discuss the food, I make endless father jokes, and I can rouse them by imagining I’m cutting myself. It’s clean, fun and enjoyable.
Cooking is a fantastic way to impart coronavirus-related information. Handwashing is an essential part of kitchen life. Today, we make a loud buzzer sound every time someone touches our faces. Then, we immediately go to the bathroom to get 20 second antiviral scrubs.
This doesn’t mean that every dish has to be a work of culinary art. Tonight, I’ll be making tacos from a mix (gasp! There are still some suggestions and tricks I can employ to make tacos from mix tonight.
I would love to say that cooking for the children reduces my workload. They take a little longer to finish their tasks as I do, and often the final product is less polished. There are also additional cleaning tasks.
In a global effort to avoid a global crisis the extra time could be a blessing.
